taken on a visit to seoul, this is my korea. little girls, deep in discussion about the important events of their lives. looking at it from afar, it's easy to trivialize things that kids say and laugh at the issues they deem significant, but having been a teacher i get it. when you're with them it's so easy to forget just how young they are. i remember being continually impressed with their opinions and varying takes on the world and the effects of peer relationships on their behaviour. and then shocked when they stood up and were tiny!
